Every week of cash, and why it moves.
- Thirteen Friday-ending weeks of cash in and out, from a bank anchor and the drivers behind it.
- Timing you can see. Collection and payment timing comes from history, and you can change it.
- Scenarios side by side. Slip collections by two weeks and see the low point before it happens.
- An assistant that explains, not decides. It drafts proposals, and you see each one’s effect on cash before you approve any change.
Low point: $27,500 in week 2.
The math is code. The decision is yours.
The calculations are plain code, not AI. Nothing is approved automatically: every proposal shows its effect on cash first, and a person decides.
What you need before you start.
- Python 3.12 or newer, and Node.js 20 or newer for the full workspace. A lighter version needs only Python.
- A Mac: it’s tested on macOS. Windows hasn’t been verified yet.
- Nothing else for the fictional example: no accounts, no keys.
- Your own accounts if you connect an AI model or QuickBooks, and provider charges may apply. Xero comes in by file for now.
It runs on your computer and sends nothing to Vesper. If you connect an AI model or QuickBooks, your data goes to those providers under your accounts. Public source, with no software license yet.
Want this running on your real books every week?
In a Build, the 13-week cash forecast is month three: connected to your ledger and bank and refreshing weekly, with your approval on every change. On Project Falcon, updating the cash forecast across one portfolio went from an hour to an instant refresh. One engagement, not a promise for another firm.

Questions
Is it really free?
Yes, and so is the audit. If you connect an AI model or QuickBooks, you use your own accounts, and provider charges may apply.
Who is it for?
CFOs and controllers of PE-backed companies, and fractional CFOs who build cash forecasts for several clients.
Can I use it in client work?
There’s no software license on it yet, so ask us before you build it into client work.
