We are AI implementation experts with backgrounds in private equity. We build new AI workflows for your team, fix the ones you already have, manage the API keys and subscriptions they run on, and lead the decisions about what comes next.
For accounting and CAS firms, fractional CFOs, M&A advisors and private equity.
Covenant reports, once accounting closed the month.
From Project Falcon, one private equity portfolio. Results from one engagement.
What we do
Four kinds of work. Your team keeps the final say.
Where AI prepares the work, plain code does the math and a person on your team approves it. We built Falcon’s platform that way, and we build yours the same way.
01 / Build new workflows
Recurring work, prepared on a schedule and approved by your team.
We build AI workflows for the work your team repeats every month: cash forecasts, reporting packs, covenant schedules, models. Before we build one, we agree what it prepares, who approves it and what it must never do.
In Project Falcon, an hour of forecast updating became an instant refresh.
02 / Fix what you already have
Tools you can rely on, or tools you retire.
A tool that is right most of the time still needs someone to check every output, which can make it slower than the work it replaced. We find where it goes wrong, write the tests that catch it, and tell you plainly when a tool does not earn its place.
03 / Manage keys and subscriptions
Every AI account with an owner, a budget and a record.
An API key nobody owns is a company card with no cardholder. We bring your AI accounts under the controls finance already runs: a named owner for each key, access removed when someone leaves, spend you can see by person and workflow, and no surprise renewals.
In Project Falcon, each firm had its own keys, and the usage log recorded counts and costs, never what was sent.
04 / Lead what comes next
A short list of priorities, each with an owner.
When your team has the tools but nobody deciding what to fix, build or stop, we act as its fractional AI officer. We set the priorities with you, name an owner for each decision, and agree the controls before use widens.
Results
What changed for one private equity portfolio.
We built a finance and accounting platform for a private equity portfolio’s finance team. It ran in production on live QuickBooks Online books, and every change to the books went through one approval queue.
These are results from one engagement, not a time-savings promise for another firm.
From Project Falcon
1.5
About 1.5 hours a week saved
Per portfolio company, across FP&A.
→
An hour, now instant
Updating the portfolio’s 13-week cash forecast used to take an hour; the automated refresh made it instantaneous.
→
Hours, now a click
Covenant and reporting-package reports used to take the finance team hours at month-end; once accounting closed the month, they were generated with a click.
40%
About 40% faster close
Within 60 days, accounting was closing the books about 40% faster.
How it works
Start with a conversation. Agree the work before it starts.
A scope call does not give anyone permission to connect your accounts or use client data.
01
Book a scope call.
Choose a time in Owen’s calendar. We talk about what your team does, the tools you have and where you want help. The call does not start a paid engagement.
02
Agree what we take on.
We agree the priorities, what stays with your team, who reviews outputs and who can approve changes.
03
Agree the fees.
Fees are agreed before work starts. There is no fixed package price.
We know how AI works. We know how finance teams work.

“Everyone builds the demo. Few build the part under it.”
Clean data. An owner for every key. A record of what happened that you can walk someone through. We build that part first.
Where to start
Which work should your team stop doing by hand?
Book a scope call with Owen. Bring one piece of recurring work, or one AI tool that is not earning its place, and we will talk through what it would take.
The call is about fit and scope; it does not start a paid engagement. Leave client names, documents, passwords, keys and other confidential information out of the booking.
