Could you show what AI did in your close?
Answer seven questions about review, testing and retained evidence in your client work. Get a printable workpaper naming what you cannot currently evidence and what to examine next. A self-assessment, not an audit or compliance opinion. No email required.
Still chasing support or repeating checks yourself? In a free, 20-minute Close Teardown, trace one handoff with Owen and discuss why that work comes back to you. No uploads, system access or purchase required.
Questions derived from the control expectations published in FEI’s AI Framework: Internal Control Over Financial Reporting (June 2026) and COSO’s Achieving Effective Internal Control Over Generative AI (February 2026). FEI sells its framework for $195. These seven questions are free, and so is the workpaper.
We record page visits, starts, completions, destination clicks, and aggregate counts of gaps and items you could not evidence. Your seven individual selections and the workpaper are not sent. Privacy policy.

Conclusion
Does the support still come back to you?
The workpaper names what you can show. In a free, 20-minute Close Teardown, trace one close handoff with Owen. Discuss why support is missing or checks repeat, what the team could prepare, what still needs your judgment and where a system could help.
Ask for a one-page map on the call and Owen sends it within 48 hours. It is free and yours to keep.
No uploads, system access or purchase required. This is a conversation about your close, not an audit or validation of your evidence.
Your evidence workpaper
This is a self-assessment, not an audit, an opinion or an assurance engagement. Vesper & Co is not your auditor. This workpaper was assembled in this browser from your selections. We record completion and aggregate gap counts, but do not send your seven individual selections or the workpaper.
Why keep the evidence.
FEI published its ICFR framework for AI in June 2026 and COSO its generative-AI internal control guidance in February. Between them they set expectations that most finance functions have never been asked for: that a prompt is a controlled configuration item under change management, that evidence retention covers model versions and parameters, that performance is tested against data where the answer was already known, and that the external auditor sees the design rather than the result.
Nothing here is legal or audit advice, and Vesper is not your counsel or your auditor. The frameworks are cited so you can read them yourself.
